One member of the Villanova staff will get a big reward in part because of the Wildcats' deep run in the NCAA tournament.
Assistant coach Pat Chambers will be named the next coach at Boston University, the Boston Globe reported on Sunday night. An announcement is expected later this week.
Chambers takes over for Dennis Wolff who was fired after going 247-197 in 15 seasons.
The 37-year-old Chambers joined Jay Wright's staff as director of basketball operations and was named associated head coach in 2008. He played basketball at Philadelphia University.
Villanova (30-8) made a magical run in the NCAA tournament. The No. 3 seed in the East regional lost to North Carolina in the Elite Eight.
