ORANGEBURG, S.C. -- Darryl Palmer scored 18 points and South Carolina State broke its 15-game losing streak with a 72-70 victory over North Carolina A&T Saturday night.
The Bulldogs (4-18, 1-9) gave interim coach Murray Garvin his first win since replacing Tim Carter earlier this month. South Carolina State also ended a 25-game losing streak in Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference games.
