NEW YORK -- Ben Mockford scored 22 points and St. Francis Brooklyn defeated Sacred Heart 92-80 Saturday in a showdown for the eighth and final Northeast Conference tournament berth.
Mockford made 6 of 11 from 3-point range as the Terriers (12-17, 8-10) made 12 of 27 (44.4 percent). The Pioneers (9-20, 7-11), who lost their seventh straight, were 4 of 18 (22.2 percent) on 3s.
