PEORIA, Ill. -- Will Egloff and Walt Lemon Jr. scored 14 points apiece as Bradley defeated Texas-Pan American 78-61 Monday night.
Dyricus Simms-Edwards had 11 points and Jake Eastman scored 10 for the Braves (2-0), who never trailed in the contest played at the on-campus Renaissance Coliseum. Most of the Braves' games are at Carver Arena.
Lemon also had a game-high six assists for Bradley.
Brandon Provost and Aaron Urbanus scored 14 points apiece for the Broncs (0-2). UTPA outrebounded Bradley 37-35 but was outscored 38-10 in the paint. Bradley shot 56 percent in the first half in building a 37-24 lead at the break, and finished at 48 percent.
