NEW ORLEANS -- Kevin Hill hit a pair of free throws with 1 second left in regulation to force overtime -- his only points of the night -- and New Orleans eked out a 75-73 victory over Texas-Pan American on Wednesday night.
After the Broncs' Brandon Provost hit a 3-pointer to put Texas-Pan American up 67-65 with 4 seconds left, Shaquille Hines fouled Hill with a second remaining, and the freshman hit both free throws to force the extra session.
New Orleans (7-13) opened overtime on a 6-1 run and held Texas-Pan American (12-12) without a field goal for the final 2:27.
The win was New Orleans' second in a row and third in its past four, including a triple overtime win over New Jersey Institute of Technology on Jan. 21.
Provost led the Broncs with 24 points.
