    Auburn 70, New Orleans 55

    AUBURN, Ala. (AP) -- Brandon Robinson scored 16 points and pulled down 12 rebounds to lead Auburn to a 70-55 win over New Orleans on Friday night.

    Nathan Watson had 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting for Auburn (9-2). Marco Killingsworth added 15 points and Kyle Davis had 12 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks.

    Victor Brown had 13 points and seven rebounds to lead the Privateers (6-5).

    After trailing 31-23 at halftime, New Orleans pulled within four on a 3-pointer by Kyle Buggs and a free throw by Kentrell Martin. But the Tigers answered with a 10-0 run over the next 2:16, including back-to-back layups off offensive boards by Davis.

    Auburn used an 8-2 run later in the second half to build a 55-37 lead, and New Orleans never got closer than 14 the rest of the way. The Tigers led by as many as 20.

    Auburn dominated inside, outrebounding the Privateers 42-29 and outscoring them 40-20 in the paint.

    It was the second double-double this season for Robinson, and the fifth in his career.
