ATHENS, Ohio (AP) -- Jaivon Harris scored 20 points and Ohio
reversed its shooting fortune in the second half to defeat Central
Michigan 73-61 Saturday.
After hitting only 9-of-29 shots before halftime, the Bobcats
(6-13, 3-6 Mid-American Conference) made 17-of-28 following the
break to erase a 31-26 deficit.
Harris hit only 1-of-6 from 3-point range in the first half and
4-of-5 beyond the arc after halftime. Delvar Barrett added 18
points for the Bobcats, who opened the second half on an 18-2 run
to take a 44-33 lead.
The Chippewas (3-16, 0-9) never got closer than six points after
that. A year after winning the conference title, Central Michigan
is the only MAC team without a victory in league play.
Leaving early for the NBA is a risky decision. Some players -- Skal Labissiere, Dejounte Murray -- slid in the draft. Some -- Isaiah Taylor, Troy Williams -- weren't drafted at all.
