Seton Hall 85, Rutgers 58

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) -- Andre Barrett had 20 points and
nine assists to lead a balanced attack and Seton Hall scored its
second biggest win in its long New Jersey rivalry with Rutgers with
an 85-58 victory on Saturday night.

The 27-point margin of victory was surpassed only by a 109-81
win in 1986, and this one had the predominantly Seton Hall crowd of
15,253 chanting "We Own Jersey" during the second half.

The Pirates (15-5, 5-3 Big East) shot 54.7 percent from the
field for the game and had five players in double figures scoring
in bouncing back from a disappointing road loss at West Virginia
earlier this week.

J.R. Morris added 18 points, John Allen had 17, Andre Sweet 15
and Kelly Whitney 10 points and 11 rebounds as the Pirates ended
Rutgers' all-time best four-game winning streak in the conference.

Herve Lamizana and Ricky Shields had 14 points apiece to lead
Rutgers (13-7, 5-5). Quincy Douby added 13 for the Scarlet Knights,
who shot 32.8 percent from the field, including just 20.8 from
3-point range (5 of 24).
