Illinois overwhelms Nevada; UW-Milwaukee next

RENO, Nev. (AP) -- Nick Fazekas and Marcelus Kemp scored 25
points each to lead No. 22 Nevada to a 78-72 victory over Humboldt
State on Saturday night in an exhibition game.

Mo Charlo added 11 points for the Wolf Pack, which opens their
regular season Nov. 19 at home against Sacramento State.

Grayson Moyer had 22 points, Kevin Johnson 19 and Jeremiah Ward
14 for the Division II Lumberjacks.

Humboldt State built an 11-point lead in the first half, hitting
seven 3-pointers. Moyer's 3-pointer with 8:10 left in the half put
the Lumberjacks ahead 29-18.

Nevada rallied with a 19-8 run to end the half tied at 37.

Fazekas also had 11 rebounds for the Wolf Pack, who led by as
many as 12 points in the second half. Kemp's basket with 3:44 left
to play put Nevada ahead 74-62.

Humboldt State went on a 10-0 run and pulled to within 74-72
with 28.8 seconds left.

Lyndale Burleson and Kemp each hit a pair of free throws and
Demarshay Johnson had a key steal with 14.6 seconds left to seal
the victory for the Wolf Pack.
