Pacific (18-6, 8-2 Big West) avenged a loss to the Highlanders
(3-18, 3-7) in its conference opener.
The Tigers' 37-point margin of victory was their largest since
an 82-37 win over Savannah State in November, and it was
Riverside's worst defeat of the season.
Riverside was led by Rickey Porter with 13 points, and Larry
Cunningham scored 11.
The Tigers shot 61.7 percent from the field and 46.7 percent on
3-pointers, both well above their season averages.
Pacific led 46-30 at halftime, then started the second half with
an 11-2 run.
The Tigers pushed their lead to 65-40 with 12:05 to play after
scoring three-point plays on consecutive possessions in the span of
Riverside committed 21 turnovers, leading to 32 Pacific points.
