LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- Jarrius Jackson scored 41 points and LucQuente White hit a key jumpshot with 39 seconds remaining to lead Texas Tech past Nebraska 70-64 Saturday.

Jackson scored the final nine points of the first half for Texas Tech (14-12, 6-6 Big 12), then opened the second half scoring 10 straight. He put the Red Raiders up 43-37 on his basket with 16:29 left.

Nebraska (16-9, 6-6) then scored eight unanswered to take a 45-43 led on Charles Richardson's 3-pointer with 14:22 remaining. Jackson's basket 15 seconds later pulled Tech into a tie and ended his scoring streak.

Neither team led by more than four the rest of the way.

Tech took the lead for good on Jackson's 3 with 4:05 left that made the score 60-57. Nebraska was able to come within one or two down the stretch. But White hit a 13-foot jumper with 39 seconds left to put the Red Raiders up 68-64 and seal the win.

Jackson's 41 points were two shy of the Bob Devaney Sports Center record set by Southern California's Harold Miner in 1991. Dior Lowhorn added 11 for Texas Tech.

Jamel White led Nebraska with 18 points. Jason Dourisseau had 15 for the Huskers and Aleks Maric added 14.
