DePaul 67, Seton Hall 64

ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) -- Freshman Wilson Chandler scored a
career-high 26 points with 11 rebounds and three blocked shots
Saturday to lead DePaul to a 67-64 win over Seton Hall.

Karron Clarke added 14 points for DePaul (11-14, 4-10 Big East),
while Sammy Mejia added 10 second-half points as both teams traded
baskets after the break.

Seton Hall (16-10, 7-7) trailed 33-27 at halftime, but opened
the second half with a 10-0 run.

Minutes later the game was tied 58-58 when Chandler hit a
3-pointer with 5:25 left.

Kelly Whitney scored 18 of his 20 points in the second half and
Jamar Nutter hit a career-high six 3's for 18 points for Seton

Whitney got Seton Hall within 64-62 late in the game. The
Pirates then had a chance to tie at the line, but Brian Laing
missed the first of a one-in-one.

Chandler got the rebound for DePaul and was fouled. He hit both
free throws to put DePaul up 66-62 with 15.3 left.

Whitney's tip-in for Seton Hall cut it to 66-64. But Chandler
made 1-of-2 at the line and Donald Copeland's halfcourt attempt to
tie the game at 67 missed as time expired.
