Ark.-Little Rock 73, Denver 47

LITTLE ROCK (AP) -- Terrance Akins hit 4-of-6 three-pointers for a total of 14 points to lead Arkansas-Little Rock to a 73-47 win Saturday night over Denver.

UALR (6-6, 1-0 Sun Belt Conference) led 32-27 at the half, then doubled the Pioneers' output after intermission, outscoring Denver (1-11, 0-2) 41-20.

The Trojans held Denver to a lower point total than any other UALR opponent so far this season.

DaShawn Walker scored 19 points for the Pioneers, and Tyler Bullock added 10.

The Trojans' Rashad Jones-Jennings got his seventh double-double of the year, with 13 points and 14 rebounds. Lekheythan Malone scored 10 points for UALR.
