CHENEY, Wash. (AP) -- Kellen Williams scored 15 of his career-high 24 points in the first half Thursday night to lead Eastern Washington to an 85-56 non-conference victory over Idaho.
Williams hit 9 of 12 from the floor and Rodney Stuckey added 16 points as the Eagles (6-6) handed the Vandals (1-10) their ninth consecutive defeat.
Eastern Washington's Stuckey converted two 3-point plays and also hit a long 3-pointer during an 18-2 first-half burst that saw the Eagles grab a 33-12 lead with 4:30 left in the half.
Leading 41-19 at halftime, EWU increased that advantage to 49-21 behind three consecutive Paul Butorac dunks and a Williams jumper. Butorac finished with 10 points and a game-high nine rebounds.
Omar Krayem chipped in eight assists for the Eagles, who are 5-0 at home this year.
It was the largest margin of victory in Eastern's 48-game series against Idaho.
EWU hit 52 percent from the floor and forced 23 Vandal turnovers.
Idaho shot 43 percent from the floor and hit just 7 of 16 from the foul line.
