Middle Tennessee 75, Denver 49

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) -- Kyle Young had 13 points and Theryn Hudson had a double-double to lead Middle Tennessee to a 75-49 win over Denver on Thursday night.

The Blue Raiders (12-11, 7-5 Sun Belt Conference) did not pull away until the second half, when the bench contributed 33 points and they hit 6-of-10 3-pointers.

Hudson had 10 points and a game-high 10 rebounds and was joined Kevin Kanaskie and Tim Blue with 11 points each.

Denver (3-19, 2-10) shot 45.8 percent from the field in the first half but cooled off in the second to go 4-of-22, or 18.2 percent. The Pioneers failed to score from the field in the last 7:10.

DaShawn Walker and Antonio Porch each had 9 points to lead Denver.

The Blue Raiders controlled the boards 38-25, scoring 11 points on second chances and 15 on turnovers.
