AKRON, Ohio (AP) -- Romeo Travis scored 21 points and Akron rode a rebounding advantage to a 74-57 victory over Austin Peay on Saturday.
The Zips (20-5) outrebounded the Governors (18-8) 46-30. Jeremiah Wood led the way with 11.
Travis scored the first six points of the game and the Zips never trailed. They led 40-37 at the half, then shot 54 percent from the field in the second half to pull away.
