Matt Betley contributed 13 points and 11 rebounds for Lafayette (9-18, 3-9 Patriot League). Marquis Hall scored 22 points for Lehigh (11-16, 7-5) while Jose Olivero had 15 points and Kyle Neptune contributed 11.
Lafayette amassed a 69-63 lead in the second overtime on baskets from Andre Hines and Paul Cummins and free throws from Jamaal Hilliard and Betley. Three Lehigh starters -- Olivero, Phil Anderson and Neptune -- fouled out in the period.
In the first extra session, Bryan White hit a layup to put Lehigh up by three points with 1:38 remaining, but Betley tied the score to send the game into another overtime, 62-62.
Lafayette trailed 11-0 in the first five minutes but used a 15-7 run to cut Lehigh's edge to 18-15 with 5:28 remaining before halftime. Lehigh led 24-23 at the break.
The Leopards held Lehigh scoreless for five minutes in the second half and tied the score at 48 and 50. Everest Schmitt sank two free throws to give Lafayette a two-point lead, but Olivero hit a jumper with 13 seconds left to send the game into overtime.
Lafayette was 30-for-37 from the free-throw line, including 15-for-19 in overtime. Brown made all eight of his attempts and Abdullah was 6-for-6.
