STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Jamont Gordon had 20 points and 10 assists to lead Mississippi State to an 101-72 victory over Bradley on Saturday in the second round of the NIT at Humphrey Coliseum.
The Bulldogs (20-13) scored 50 points in the paint while outrebounding Bradley 51-32, limiting the Braves' high-powered offense to 37-percent shooting.
The victory sets up a quarterfinal matchup between the Bulldogs and Florida State on Tuesday in Starkville.
Bradley (22-13) was led by senior guard Will Franklin, who had 15 points.
The Braves, who lead the nation in 3-point field goal percentage, were 9-of-30 from behind the arc.
The Bulldogs led 44-38 at the half. Gordon, whose double-double was his sixth of the season and the 10th of his career, scored the team's first eight points and the team hit five of its first seven 3-pointers in the first half.
After halftime, the Braves closed the gap early but MSU went on a 23-2 run.
