ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) -- -Freshman Manny Harris scored 22 points, including nine off of 3-pointers, and DeShawn Sims added 17 to lead Michigan to a 72-57 victory over Brown on Sunday.

Anthony Wright and freshman Kelvin Grady also had 10 points apiece for the Wolverines, who have won their first two games under new coach John Beilein.

Michigan has made 19 3-pointers, the most by the Wolverines in their first two games since the start of the 2000-01 season.

Damon Huffman and Mark McAndrew had 17 and 16 points, respectively, for the Bears (1-1). Brown is 1-13 all-time against Big Ten opponents with its only win coming against Northwestern during the 1995-96 season.

After Michigan scored the first two baskets of the second half to open a 20-point cushion, McAndrew hit consecutive 3-pointers and split a pair of free throws to pull Brown within 41-28.

Harris and Sims responded by combining to score 13 of Michigan's next 15 points to push the Wolverines up 56-34 with 12:06 left. Brown made a late run to climb within 13 with 3:51 remaining. Michigan hit its first five field goal attempts of the game en route to a 15-4 lead and was ahead 37-21 at halftime.
