The Gators (7-1) improved to 26-2 in November over the past four seasons, building a 20-point halftime lead and never allowing the overmatched Catamounts (2-5) to get any closer the rest of the way.
It was the team's second straight win following a 14-point loss at home to Florida State that dropped them out of the Top 25.
Marqus Blakley made his first six shots and finished with 16 points for Vermont, which trailed by as many as 33 in the second half. Mike Trimboli led the Catamounts with 23 points on 8-for-17 shooting.
Calathes scored 15 of his team-high total in the opening half to help Florida open a 52-32 lead. He finished 6-of-8 from the field and went 8-for-11 from the foul line, while Lucas and Speights took up the scoring slack after halftime.
Vermont led once, 2-0, and was just 2-for-12 on 3-point attempts while shooting 44.6 percent overall.
Chandler Parsons joined Calathes, Lucas and Speights in double figures with 10 points for Florida, which shot 59.6 percent.
