CHICAGO (AP) -- Mike Schachtner scored a game-high 20 points to lead Wisconsin-Green Bay to a 69-63 win over Loyola of Chicago Thursday in the Horizon League opener for both teams.
The Phoenix led throughout, including a 38-31 halftime lead and 50-39 advantage with 11 minutes left. But Loyola of Chicago (2-5, 0-1) fought back, cutting the lead to three points several times in the second half.
