DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -- Brian Roberts put up 20 points to lead five Dayton players in double digit scoring, and the Flyers cruised by Loyola, Md., 91-74 Saturday night for their ninth straight win.
After falling behind 4-2 nearly a minute into the game, Dayton (10-1) tied the game on a jumpshot by Kurt Huelsman 90 seconds later and never again relinquished the lead. The Flyers saw their largest lead of 20 points 5:20 into the second half.
Marquis Sullivan scored 15 points to lead Loyola (5-6), which shot 51 percent from the floor.
Dayton shot 49 percent, but dominated the game with points off turnovers (32) and second-chance points (21).
Maryland point guard Melo Trimble, considered a lock to leave the program before struggling in the second half last season, has withdrawn from the NBA draft and will return for his junior season.
Louisville's Chinanu Onuaku, who recently underwent a medical procedure to correct a heart rhythm issue detected during the combine, will keep his name in the NBA draft pool.
Andrew White III will return to the Nebraska men's basketball team next season after removing his name from the NBA draft.
