HANOVER, N.H. (AP) -- Alex Barnett scored 21 points to lead four players in double figures as Dartmouth beat Maryland-Eastern Shore 86-62 on Wednesday night.
BJ Nimocks came off the bench to hit all six of his field goal attempts to lead UMES with a season-high 16 points. Denzel Jackson added 15 for the Hawks (2-17), which lost its eight game in a row, and is 0-11 on the road.
Dartmouth never trailed, jumping to a 6-0 lead and extending it to 37-25 at the half. After UMES pulled within nine early in the second half, the Big Green took off on a 15-6 run to double the margin to 54-36.
Dartmouth went on to lead by as many as 26 points.
Gonzaga center Przemek Karnowski, who missed most of last season with a back injury, says he is returning for another year.
