VESTAL, N.Y. (AP) -- Joe Zeglinski scored 14 of his 21 points in the second half while Morgan Sabia added 12 of his 15 to lead Hartford's rally over Binghamton 71-62 on Saturday in America East basketball.
The Hawks (11-13, 5-4 America East) trailed 27-25 at the break but shot 72 percent in the second half to end the five-game winning streak of the Bearcats (10-11, 6-3).
With Hartford ahead by one point with 4:09 remaining, Zeglinski and Sabia hit 3-pointers in a 9-2 run that put them up 64-56 with 1:25 left. The Hawks sank 7-of-8 free throws in the final minute to seal the win. Jaret Von Rosenberg added 11 points.
Lazar Trifunovic had 19 points and 10 rebounds for Binghamton. Richard Forbes added 12 points in 19 minutes off the bench. Reggie Fuller had 11 rebounds, six points and two blocks. The Bearcats shot 4-of-19 from beyond the arc and couldn't make the key defensive stops down the stretch.
Maryland point guard Melo Trimble, considered a lock to leave the program before struggling in the second half last season, has withdrawn from the NBA draft and will return for his junior season.
Louisville's Chinanu Onuaku, who recently underwent a medical procedure to correct a heart rhythm issue detected during the combine, will keep his name in the NBA draft pool.
Andrew White III will return to the Nebraska men's basketball team next season after removing his name from the NBA draft.
