YPSILANTI, Mich. (AP) -- Carlos Medlock matched his career-high 26 points and had five assists to help Eastern Michigan win its second straight home game on Wednesday night, a 78-68 victory over Bowling Green.
The Falcons (11-12, 6-5 Mid-American) cut the lead to 58-56 on Brian Moten's 3-pointer with seven minutes to play, but Eastern Michigan answered with five straight points in the next three minutes. Bowling Green never got closer than five points the rest of the game.
Eastern Michigan had a 10-0 run midway through the first half to take the lead for good and was ahead 34-28 at intermission.
