INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Austin Montgomery scored 18 points and contributed three of IUPUI's 12 steals as the Jaguars handed Oral Roberts its first Summit League loss 69-66 Saturday.
George Hill added 16 points, Gary Patterson had 15 on five 3-pointers and Billy Pettiford scored 10 as IUPUI (21-5, 13-2 Summit) won its eighth straight game and 15th straight at home, going back to last season.
Four different Jaguars had steals as IUPUI pressured Oral Roberts into 19 turnovers. Pettiford led the team with four, Montgomery and Hill had three each and Drew Connor had two before fouling out with 1:57 left.
Oral Roberts fell behind by as many as 13 points in the first half and trailed 32-23 at halftime but rallied in the second half, making 14-of-28 field goals overall, including 7-of-13 on 3-pointers. Ehambe led the team with five 3-pointers in eight attempts.
The lead changed hands seven times.
Marchetto Vealy came off the Oral Roberts bench for a game-high nine rebounds, but IUPUI, starting three guards and two forwards, was outrebounded by only one, 29-28. Hill, a guard, led IUPUI with eight boards.
