Lloyd Noble Center, Norman, Oklahoma
NORMAN, Okla. -- Had he known beforehand that Oklahoma star Blake Griffin wouldn't make a field goal on Saturday, Utah coach Jim Boylen surmised what he thought would happen."We win," he said. But Griffin, handicapped by foul trouble for much of the first half, still found a way to lift No. 5 Oklahoma to a 70-52 victory over the Utes, going 11-of-14 at the free-throw line, grabbing 11 rebounds and routinely passing to open teammates.
• Blake Griffin scored 11 points, all on free throws. It's just the second time in Griffin's career he's failed to make a field goal -- the other was last year's loss to Kansas in which he played only five minutes because of a knee injury.
• Five players scored between 11 and 14 points for the Sooners, led by Austin Johnson's 14.
• Oklahoma is 10-0 for the first time since 2003-04.
