FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Ben Woodside scored 21 points and North Dakota State held off IPFW's second-half rally for a 67-60 Summit League victory Wednesday.
The Bison saw a 34-20 halftime lead dwindle to a single point after Carson scored four straight points on a 3-pointer and a free throw that made it 50-49 with 6:38 left.
Woodside and Nelson responded with 3-pointers and North Dakota State scored 10 of the next 14 points to go up 63-53 on a Woodside layup with 50 seconds left. IPFW never came closer than the final margin after that.
