EUGENE, Ore. -- Josh Shipp started hitting from the outside when UCLA needed it most.The senior swingman scored 17 points, including four 3-pointers in the second half, to help the Bruins (No. 9 ESPN/USA Today, No. 12 AP) stifle Oregon's rally in an 83-74 victory Sunday.
• The Bruins extended their winning streak to eight games, beating the Ducks for the eighth time in their last nine meetings.
• Darren Collison scored 22 points and dished nine assists to lead four Bruins in double figures. Collison hit 9-of-9 from the free-throw line, including 6-of-6 in the last two minutes to secure the win.
• UCLA shot a season-high 59.1 percent from beyond the arc, including 8-of-10 shooting in the first half.
• Oregon has lost nine straight vs. ranked opponents and has lost seven of its last 10 overall.
