CLEMSON, S.C. -- K.C. Rivers knows it's not Clemson's shooting touch or fastbreak attack that's fueling its latest unbeaten streak."We call it mental focus," said Rivers, the team's senior captain. "When you want to do something, you've got to focus in on doing it and [coach Oliver Purnell] has made us focus in on stopping on defense. And that's what we did. We bought in."
• The Tigers remain one of three unbeaten teams in Division I as they improved to 15-0, the second time in the last 22 seasons they have won their first 15 games of the season.
• Trevor Booker scored a season-high 19 points to lead Clemson, and K.C. Rivers added 12 points to pass Tree Rollins for 10th place on the school's scoring list with 1,475.
• Alabama snapped its five-game winning streak and has now lost four straight road games vs. ranked opponents.
