STATESBORO, Ga. -- Stephen Curry scored 28 points to lead Davidson to an 89-68 victory over Georgia Southern on Saturday.
Curry, the nation's leading scorer at 29.1 points a game entering Saturday, was only 11 of 30 from the field (3 of 16 from the 3-point line) as the Wildcats (14-3, 7-0 Southern Conference) won their 37th consecutive regular season conference game.
The Wildcats took a 23-10 lead on Bryant Barr's 3-pointer with 11:38 in the first half and led 49-24 on Curry's jumper with 2:10 remaining. Davidson led by 28 points with 8:01 left in the game.
Georgia Southern (5-9, 3-3) never led.
