AMES, Iowa -- When most people think of Oklahoma, they think of Blake Griffin. If freshman Willie Warren keeps playing like he did on Saturday, folks may soon realize the Sooners (No. 5 ESPN/USA Today, No. 4 AP) have more than just Griffin to rely on.Warren scored 29 points and Oklahoma closed the game on a 13-2 run to beat Iowa State 78-68 for its ninth straight win.Griffin was his usual self, scoring 23 points and grabbing 15 rebounds to extend his streak of games with at least 20 points and 15 boards to four. But if it wasn't for Warren, the Sooners (21-1, 7-0 Big 12) probably would have suffered their first conference loss.
• Blake Griffin finished with 23 points and 15 rebounds for his 11th 20 point/15 rebound game this season. That's the highest total in a single season since the start of the 1996-97 season.
• Willie Warren had a game-high 29 points (his fifth career 20-plus point game) and has scored in double figures in 17 of 22 collegiate games.
• The win ended a two-game losing streak at Iowa State for Oklahoma.
• Iowa State has lost 12 straight vs. ranked Big 12 opponents.
