PRINCESS ANNE, Md. -- Tywain McKee scored 14 of his 22 points in the second half as Coppin State topped Maryland-Eastern Shore 65-48 on Monday night.
Mike Buckley came off the bench to add 12 points for the Eagles (7-15, 5-4 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) as they won their fourth straight game, all in league play.
Coppin State scored 25 points off 21 Hawks turnovers and held Maryland-Eastern Shore (6-14, 2-6) to 31.5-percent shooting (17 of 54) from the field.
Coppin State shot 41.8 percent from the field (23 of 55), but was 5 of 11 from beyond the arc and 14 of 16 from the free-throw line.
The Hawks held a 43-30 advantage on the glass, including 17 offensive rebounds.
