CLEVELAND -- Max Boudreau scored 13 points and Calvin Betts had 11 points and 18 rebounds to lead Buffalo to a 65-62 win over Kent State in the quarterfinals of the Mid-American Conference tournament Thursday afternoon.

Kent State's Al Fisher was 2-of-14 from the field, scoring just nine points after scoring 25 in Tuesday's first round win over Northern Illinois. Chris Singletary, returning from a one-game suspension, scored 13 points for the Golden Flashes but fouled out with 4:37 remaining.
