MURRAY, Ky. -- Ivan Aska scored 17 points and the Racers extended their winning streak to 17 games by beating Morgan State 75-66 on Saturday.
The Racers (26-3) tied Butler for the nation's longest winning streak, and set a new school record for consecutive wins in their 18th straight home victory.
Murray State already clinched the Ohio Valley Conference crown with two remaining games -- at second-place Morehead State on Thursday and on the road against third-place Eastern Kentucky next Saturday.
The Bears (20-9), who clinched the regular-season Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championship, actually led 33-30 at halftime. But the Racers opened the second half on a 12-3 run and cruised the rest of the way.
Reggie Holmes paced the Bears with 22 points and eight rebounds.
Indiana guard James Blackmon Jr., who averaged 15.8 points in 13 games before being injured last season, has withdrawn from the NBA draft.
Isaiah Briscoe has decided to withdraw from the NBA draft and will return to Kentucky for his sophomore season. Marcus Lee intends to transfer.
The Big 12/SEC Challenge will again feature Kansas and Kentucky, this time at Rupp Arena. That's not the only exciting matchup in next season's midseason conference showdown.
