MURRAY, Ky. -- Ivan Aska scored 17 points and the Racers extended their winning streak to 17 games by beating Morgan State 75-66 on Saturday.
The Racers (26-3) tied Butler for the nation's longest winning streak, and set a new school record for consecutive wins in their 18th straight home victory.
Murray State already clinched the Ohio Valley Conference crown with two remaining games -- at second-place Morehead State on Thursday and on the road against third-place Eastern Kentucky next Saturday.
The Bears (20-9), who clinched the regular-season Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference championship, actually led 33-30 at halftime. But the Racers opened the second half on a 12-3 run and cruised the rest of the way.
Reggie Holmes paced the Bears with 22 points and eight rebounds.
