• Georgetown's Chris Wright scored 27 points for the third time this season. The Hoyas' Greg Monroe finished with 15 points, 10 rebounds and was three assists shy of a triple-double.
• Syracuse, which had its four-game win streak against Georgetown snapped, turned the ball over 11 times in the first half and finished with 17 turnovers.
• Syracuse's Wesley Johnson had 24 points, seven rebounds and three steals (all team highs). It was the second time in 22 games this season the Orange lost when Johnson shot over 45 percent from the field.
