JERSEY CITY, N.J. -- Wesley Jenkins scored 22 points to lead Saint Peter's over Manhattan 66-49 on Saturday.
Jenkins was 7 of 13 from the field with all but one basket coming from behind the 3-point arc (6 of 10).
The Peacocks (4-4, 2-0 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) were 9 for 18 from 3-point range.
Along with the prolific long-range shooting, Saint Peter's also dominated in the paint, outscoring the Jaspers 26-10 inside and outrebounding them 37-30.
Saint Peter's trailed 26-23 with 3:10 left in the first half before a 3-pointer by Jenkins tied it a little more than a minute later, and Jeron Belin's 3 put the Peacocks up for good, 29-26, with 39 seconds left in the half.
Belin finished with 12 points and Darius Conley added 11 for the Peacocks, who scored 18 points off 13 Manhattan turnovers.
Nick Walsh paced the Jaspers (2-6, 0-2) with 15 points.
Maryland point guard Melo Trimble, considered a lock to leave the program before struggling in the second half last season, has withdrawn from the NBA draft and will return for his junior season.
Louisville's Chinanu Onuaku, who recently underwent a medical procedure to correct a heart rhythm issue detected during the combine, will keep his name in the NBA draft pool.
Andrew White III will return to the Nebraska men's basketball team next season after removing his name from the NBA draft.
