MALIBU, Calif. -- David Hanson scored a career-high 28 points, including six 3-pointers, as part of Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo's 70-64 win over Pepperdine on Tuesday night.
The Mustangs (4-7) began with a 12-0 run and never trailed, snapping a four-game losing streak.
Hanson scored 18 of his points in the second half and Cal Poly shot 47.8 percent from the field in the period.
Lewis finished with 19 points, including sinking 15 of 19 free throws. Will Donahue chipped in with 10 points for the Mustangs.
