HARRISONBURG, Va. -- Cam Long scored 30 points and George Mason held off James Madison in a 75-73 win on Saturday.
George Mason overcame an eight-point deficit in the second half, pulling ahead on Tate's 3-pointer to give the Patriots a 52-50 lead with 9:59 remaining. Tate, who made all five of his field goal attempts, knocked down another 3 to push George Mason's advantage to seven with 8:16 to play.
