ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Darius Morris had 12 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds for the third triple-double in school history, and Michigan pulled away in the second half for an 87-73 victory over Iowa on Sunday.

Morris grabbed his 10th rebound in the final seconds to become the first Michigan player with a triple-double since Manny Harris on Nov. 14, 2009. Gary Grant also had one in the 1987 NCAA tournament against North Carolina.

Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 19 points for the Wolverines, and Evan Smotrycz added 14. Michigan (13-9, 3-6 Big Ten) followed up its upset win at Michigan State in impressive fashion against the last-place Hawkeyes. The Wolverines went 14 of 28 from 3-point range.

Melsahn Basabe had 25 points and eight rebounds for Iowa (8-13, 1-8).
