BALTIMORE -- Justin Drummond scored a career-high 22 points and Loyola (Md.) used a 42-13 run to defeat Canisius 72-57 on Sunday.
The Greyhounds (13-12, 9-6 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) trailed 24-12 midway through the opening half before going on a 20-4 run to enter halftime with a 34-28 advantage.
Loyola started the second half on a 22-9 run, capped by a layup from Drummond with 11:49 left to play, to extend its lead to 54-37.
The Golden Griffins (13-12, 7-8) shot 11 for 30 from the floor in the second half (36.7 percent) and committed 20 turnovers, leading to 18 points for Loyola.
