RICHMOND, Va. -- Bradford Burgess scored 22 points and Virginia Commonwealth cruised to an 87-64 win over North Carolina-Wilmington in the Colonial Athletic Association opener for both teams.
The Rams (7-3) won their fourth straight game and have allowed an average of 55 points during the streak. It was the ninth win in the past 10 games in the series for Virginia Commonwealth.
The Rams forced 28 turnovers and Darius Theus had seven of their 20 steals.
