ST. LOUIS -- Dwayne Evans had 18 points and nine rebounds as Saint Louis beat Arkansas State 70-46 on Thursday for its fifth straight victory.
Brian Conklin added 12 points for the Billikens (11-1), who shot 54 percent from the field, hit 9 of 21 3-pointers and held a 43-18 advantage on points in the paint. Saint Louis turned the ball over just eight times.
Saint Louis led 36-20 at halftime, then began the second half with a 9-0 run that was capped by Rob Loe's 3-pointer. Arkansas State got within 17 points just once in the final period, when Finn hit a 3-pointer to move the Red Wolves within 49-32.
