BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Stephon Carter scored 16 points, one of four players in double figures, as Cal State-Bakersfield rolled to a 75-41 victory over Pomona-Pitzer on Friday night.
Other players to score in double figures for Cal State-Bakersfield (7-7) were Rashad Savage with 12, Issiah Grayson with 11 and Adam Young with 10.Savage had seven rebounds and Grayson had five assists. Carter and Kwai Pearson each had four steals. The Roadrunners had a 24-3 advantage in points off turnovers.Cal State-Bakersfield led 22-16 with 3:55 left in the first half, then went on a 12-3 run to finish out the half.Michael Cohen scored 12 points off the bench to lead Pomona-Pitzer (5-4).
