CHARLESTON, S.C. -- Kelvin Martin scored 23 points to lead Charleston Southern past Campbell 91-73 on Thursday night.
Martin knocked down 10 of 12 shots from the field and led four players in double figures.
Charleston Southern took a narrow 43-39 lead into halftime but quickly pushed the lead to 10, 51-41, early in the second half behind a Martin layup.
Campbell (9-7, 3-1 Big South Conference) cut the lead to five, 51-46, but the Buccaneers used to 28-13 run to take a 79-59 lead with 8:01 left to play.
Charleston Southern (10-5, 3-1) shot 50 percent (31 of 62) from the field and hit 46.4 percent (13 of 28) from 3-point range.
Eric Griffin led Campbell with 23 points, but the Camels struggled from 3-point range, shooting only 13.3 percent (2 of 15).
