COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Sean Mosley scored 18 points Sunday to lead Maryland past Georgia Tech 61-50 for its second straight conference win.

Mosley scored all but two of his points in the second half, and was 10 of 10 from the foul line, as he led Maryland (12-4, 2-1 Atlantic Coast Conference) to its ninth win in 10 games.

Terrell Stoglin, the ACC's leading scorer, added 14 points for the Terrapins despite playing with a sore back. He had seven points in a row during an early second-half run and scored in double figures for the 15th time this season.

James Padgett scored 14 points and led Maryland with nine rebounds. He was 6 of 7 from the foul line, where Maryland hit 19 of 23.

Maryland has beaten Georgia Tech (8-9, 1-2) in 11 straight regular-season games, the only loss since 2004 coming in the 2010 conference tournament.

Nick Faust also played a big role for Maryland, converting three steals into layups. The first of those conversions came at the end of the first half and gave Maryland a 24-19 lead.

The Yellow Jackets' 19 points were their lowest output in a half this season.

Kammeon Holsey scored 11 points to lead Georgia Tech, which has lost five of its last six games.

Georgia Tech blocked nine Maryland shots, holding the Terps to 33.3 percent (18 of 54) shooting, but shot poorly from the field itself, making just 33.9 percent (19 of 56), including only 3 of 17 3-point tries.

Stoglin started despite his sore back. His four-point play early in the second half -- a 3-point basket and free throw -- and his 3-pointer that preceded it started a 9-2 run that ended with Maryland leading 36-26 with 16:30 to play.

Both teams struggled in the first half, with Maryland making more free throws (8 of 9) than field goals (7 of 27, 25.9 percent), while the Yellow Jackets shot 24.1 percent (7 of 29) and were 2 of 10 behind the arc. Maryland had nine turnovers and Georgia Tech seven.

Faust's layup at the end of the half completed a 6-0 Maryland closing run in which Padgett and Mosley each hit a pair of free throws. Georgia Tech failed to score in the final 4 1/2 minutes of the half.
