VALPARAISO, Ind. -- Ryan Broekhoff scored 26 points and Valparaiso hit 12 3-pointers en route to a 78-73 comeback victory over Detroit on Thursday night.
Broekhoff hit all six of his 3-point attempts and was 8 of 9 overall from the floor as the Crusaders (16-8, 9-3 Horizon) rallied from a 10-point second-half deficit.
Valparaiso battled back to take a 64-62 lead on Van Broekhoff's 3-pointer with 5:41 left in the game. He added another with 4:08 remaining that broke a 66-all tie and started a 10-3 run that put the Crusaders ahead to stay.
