VESTAL, N.Y. -- Jacob Iati scored 22 points and Mike Black added 21 to lead Albany (N.Y.) past Binghamton 74-63 on Thursday night, dropping the Bearcats back into the loss column just one game after their only win of the season.
Gerardo Suero recorded a double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 11 rebounds for the Great Danes (18-13, 9-7 America East Conference). Jayson Guerrier also chipped in 10 points for Albany in the team's regular-season finale.
The Great Danes swept the season series against the Bearcats, also beating them on Jan. 25.
Besides a deficit in the game's first minute, Albany led the rest of the contest. The Great Danes were up by 11 points at halftime, and clinched it with both teams scoring 40 points in the second half.
Ben Dickinson finished with 21 points for the Bearcats (1-27, 1-14), who beat Vermont, the second-place team in the conference, on Tuesday.
