Army (12-17, 5-9) had a chance to tie it with 3 seconds left, but freshman Maxwell Lenox missed the first of two foul shots. He intentionally missed the second, but Lehigh's Gabe Knutson (17 points) grabbed the rebound.
In a tight game throughout, Army's Ella Ellis -- who, like Julian Simmons, scored 14 points -- made two foul shots with 0:32 left in regulation to tie it 64-all. In overtime, the score tied 69-69, Adams scored on a dunk for Lehigh (23-7, 11-3). Josh Herbeck's 3-pointer put Army ahead 72-71 with 2:13 left. It stayed that way until Adams' game-winner.
