Taylor, Jayhawks Run On Turnovers
The Jayhawks were able to create transition opportunities off of North Carolina turnovers and scored 18 transition points Sunday, their most in a game during the tournament. The Tar Heels had 10 turnovers, leading to nine transition plays and 11 transition points for Kansas. Tyshawn Taylor finished with nine of the Jayhawks' 18 transition points.

Once again Sunday, a switch to a triangle-and-two hybrid zone defense helped Kansas win a close second half game. In the third round against Purdue, Kansas went to its hybrid zone down eight points in the second half and won by three.
